Wow—this hidden gem exceeded all our expectations! The resort is surprisingly spacious, even though not all facilities are fully open yet. The pool is absolutely stunning—at 250 meters long, I couldn’t even swim from end to end! The rooms are new, clean, and comfortable, and while the restaurant serves delicious food, the menu is a bit limited. Hopefully, they'll expand it soon. This has truly been a highlight of our trip to Cambodia. Honestly, Koh Sdach wasn’t on our radar before, but now we can confidently recommend both the island and especially this resort to anyone seeking a unique and memorable experience. Side note: The service was a bit slow, likely because they’ve just recently opened—but we trust it will improve with time.

Lonely Beach biedt accommodatie op het eiland Koh Rong. Gasten kunnen voor een drankje terecht in de eigen bar. Vanuit bepaalde units kijkt u uit op de zee of de tuin. Sowieso Dany, de eigenaar, wat een heerlijke man om te mogen ontmoeten. Zijn visie, de manier waarop hij leeft met en in de natuur is inspirerend.. De rit naar en van Lonely beach vond ik een van de geweldigste ervaringen die ik heb gehad in Cambodja.....en natuurlijk Lonely beach zelf, een stuk ongerepte natuur die Dany weet te behouden. Hij heeft trouwens heel goede snorkeltips en supergoed snorkelmateriaal....en daarnaast zijn hondenroedel, wat een fijne bende honden zijn me dat....heel leuk als ze 's morgens met je meegaan op ontdekking op het verlaten strand.

Koh Apikjun Resort by EHM is een accommodatie met 5 sterren tegenover het strand in Kaoh Sdach met heeft een buitenzwembad, een fitnessruimte en een tuin. The private villa is perfect: beautiful spot right over the water, private pool and direct access to the sea ! We had dinner on our private terrace with a sunset view. Perfectly quiet and very comfortable bed! Breakfast was very complete with western and Asian food. Coffee made directly by the barista for free, a real plus.

Mad Monkey Koh Sdach in Kaoh Sdach biedt accommodatie alleen voor volwassenen met een privéstrand, een terras en een bar. It's a really beautiful location and the hotel is very clean. It feels more like a fancy resort than a hostel (although I was in a private room, not a dorm).

Friend of Nature Bungalow bevindt zich in Koh Rong, op 2,9 km van Lonely Beach, en heeft een aantal voorzieningen, waaronder een tuin en een terras. Located in a magical place (mangrove forest), among locals. The bungalow is simple, which in my opinion is the best way to enjoy the environment surrounding it. The bed was confortable and had a mosquito net. The fan was all I needed to keep the room fresh at night. The shower had a good flow. The hammock on the balcony, with a view on the mangrove, was exceptional! Volunteering is possible there - teaching English to kids, planting mangrove plants, etc. Lonely beach, a stunning place, is close enough to access on foot (I did it a few times). Good restaurants also close by. Above all, Johney, the owner is funny, extremely helpful and kind, he drove me around several times 🥹 I wish I could’ve stay there longer. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic place to stay in Koh Rong, go there!

The host Johnny is also very helpful with arranging scooters or anything else.
