We accidentally checked ourselves into the wrong room! As a family, after a long travel. But even though the room was meant for 2 people it was still comfortable. Close to a huge shopping centre which was awesome.

everything is neat, compact and beautiful, the area is industrial, so it's a bit secluded, but near the airport, which is what I was looking for. i highly recommend it, it was a great stay.

Location and Transport
Vilnius Airport sits just around 4 miles (6 kilometres) from the city centre and serves as a hub for Small Planet Airlines, airBaltic, Wizz Air and Ryanair. The easiest way to reach the city centre is by taxi, which takes around 17 minutes and costs about EUR 10. Alternatively, take the airport shuttle train which runs 16 times a day and takes just seven minutes. The railway stop is located next to the terminal.

Nice, quiet city. Beautiful buildings, especially the Old town. Many old churches. There is a castle and a palace worth to see. The view from the castle and from the TV tower is great. Actually, the best part was that I could see my son, who works there.:-)

Vilnius Old Town is lovely.
Vilnius Old Town is lovely. We visited during the holidays and the atmosphere is very festive. It is beautifully decorated and the locals obviously love their city, as they should. There is plenty to do and see, from museums and churches, to some hikes for views of the city, to exploring the narrow streets and the beautiful shops. We highly recommend the Archaeological Museum. Be prepared to spend hours there! The variety of restaurants is amazing, and food is reasonably priced overall. The Christmas Market, while small, is fun and if you like to have holiday treats, this is the place to come. Take a walking tour to orient yourself to learn some of the history of LIthuania and Vilnius from a local.
