Our room was large, very clean and the bed was super confortable. The breakfast was also very good. Our stay was so good and it exceeded our expectations!

After an 8-day road trip, we returned to our starting point, Ouarzazate. This hotel provided a perfect environment for us to rest and completely shake off the fatigue from the previous days. The Wi-Fi here is very fast, which is ideal for me to work and organize my photos. The staff are also very friendly and respond quickly. They essentially have 24-hour front desk service, unlike other guesthouses or hotels that often ask when you're arriving. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Highly recommended!

It is more laid back and less touristy than Marrakech.
It is more laid back and less touristy than Marrakech. It's different culturally than Casa, Kech, or Tangier and has some unique attractions in and out of town. Oh, and don't forget to get the ghraiba cookies (like a pecan sandy) at Habbous in the main town square - the best I've had in the whole country.

Not only is Ouarzazate a pretty nice and vibrant place, there is much to explore around such as NooR, the most massive solar power station of the world, Atlas studios or Fint oasis. Recommended restaurants are La Datte d' Or, Ovelix and Habous patisserie.

We were disappointed in Ouarzazate.
We were disappointed in Ouarzazate. It is cosmopolitan city but the area around was quite dismal. Unfortunately like so many places in Morocco, a country we love, it is drowning in rubbish. The highlight was visiting Ait Ben Haddou.

With Studios to visit one day and Ait Benhaddou the next. While each place takes half day each to visit take two days and enjoy the relaxation around the hotel. Staying at The Atlas Studio Hotel your next door to the studios. But a drive for anywhere else

They called it "the door to Sahara" and we agree.
They called it "the door to Sahara" and we agree. the old town has a wonderful magical touch to it. The new town is trying to compete. We found everything clean and welcoming. The solar power station is amazing
