United StatesThis property needs more reviews! It’s a hidden gem, in my opinion. It’s not described as luxury but it surely has everything you need! The location is obviously top-notch, how can you beat waking up and walking out onto your porch at the beach? It’s a beautiful view morning till night. Plus, direct access to the sand and lounges/cushions provided. Convenient parking lot, great host and maid, easy check-in, comfortable bed, hot showers, very cold AC, nice bath linens and beach towels. All the kitchen amenities too! Close to all the good restaurants.

This spot is a great getaway for couples.
This spot is a great getaway for couples. The location which is a walking distance down the beach from Grand Case is away from the crowds and tourists of the southern part of St. Maarten. The french food, pastries, and local foods are delicious. The people are very friendly and helpful with directions and inviting.

Unexpected stay -- definitely rent a car, had I been better prepared I would have done so, as taxi rates if traveling solo are expensive. Amazing beaches, calm tranquil waters. There is a free beach sandwiched between two paying beaches. The Anse Marcel Beach Resort offers 2 seats + umbrella for 30 Euros + lunch (its connected to a restaurant).
Local dinner at Del Arti (Italian); and took taxis to Grande Case & Orient Bay for the other 2 nights. Some of the best French food this side of the Atlantic.

We love Orient Beach after visiting for 12 yers. Shops, restaurants, bars, staff, scenery....all make for a wonderful and memorable vacation experience. Everthing including Marigot and Phillipsburg fairly close by.

We stayed on the French side of the island in Grand Case...
We stayed on the French side of the island in Grand Case which has the best food available on the island. All the people that we met were very nice, helpful, friendly and polite. Wide range of accommodations, attractions to please anyone. Beautiful relaxing Island. young or older lots of choices of things to do, places to go and great food across the Island.

The water was beautiful and the apartment on a perfect location but there’s still so much destruction from Irma on Grand Case. Also lots of businesses closed. Not many stores or restaurants to stroll by

I loved Anse Marcel!
I loved Anse Marcel! The beach was fantastic as it was very calm, and never crowded. A little marina with shops was within walking distance, and larger grocery store app. 10 minute drive. The ferry terminal for
Pinel Island was also a short drive away, providing a fun day trip with great hiking, beautiful scenery, restaurants and resort beach area. It was also possible to book other tours and day trips from the marina as well. Fabulous hiking in the area, but I would have liked to see more signage for the locations.

The beach is beautiful and very long.
The beach is beautiful and very long. Off to the right side there is a nude beach. The center has lounges with shades to sit on the beach for a price. There are waiters who serve drinks and food on the beach, but we took lunch in one of the restaurants as they have nice ambiance also. We were at Wai restaurant but all are good. There are water activities with wind surfing, kite surfing and on less windy days parasailing.

Saint Martin is very beautiful, and the weather was also perfect. Once we were familiar with the area, we were able to navigate around with our rental car. The traffic on Airport Road was always congested.

Rooms were large, decorated beautifully in tropical colors and decor. The pool is warm and cool as most would prefer on a hot day and is located near by. The food in the restaurant was amazing. After our party left to the other side of the island we tried to plan a evening back just for the food. Unfortunately time did not permit it. Our part was truly disappointed. We are all still talking of our meal and drinks there.

Whatever style of beach you’re looking for you can find it here you want something where there’s lots of people no problem looking for something where there’s only 10 people on a 2 mile breach. They’ve got it. Beautiful waters beautiful snorkelling just a wonderful place.
