Viluveli is a great choice for a relatively low budget retreat with much of the perks of more luxurous locations. Its located few feet from a gorgeous sandy white beach and spectacular blue waters. This is usually accompanied with a constant refreshing breeze from the sea and you could just sit at the beach to enjoy the view and cool relaxing wind for hours. Also despite being so close to the beach its also relatively close to the heart island. Most of the shops and eateries are a 15 minute walk away so you are not trapped in a remote location and can easily get back to civilization. There is a reasonably sized clean swimming pool which can be refreshing as the sea itself maybe difficult to swim for some inexperienced swimmers due to the relatively strong waves which are present most of the day. They also offer free snorkelling gear for those interested. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. The wifi is great with good connectivity. The room was clean and comfy as well with overall good service.

Le Hondaafushi Island Resort regorge de verdure et de nature. Tous nos bungalows sont entièrement indépendants et donnent sur la plage. Chaque bungalow offre beaucoup d'intimité pour les clients. It's tough to put down words to describe how magical was our stay at Hondaafushi Island Resort. We were there for our honeymoon and we enjoyed so much. The welcome was warm yet professional, the apartment on the beach was just amazing (the back door overlooking the sea was great, but we really enjoyed also the outdoor bathroom). The Tila Bar was perfect: staff, atmosphere, drinks, events organized in the evening like the karaoke or dance night. The restaurant was always perfect from brekfast to dinner: just great food and so many options! The excursions were also fun: we did the fishing and snorkeling. Can't wait to be back!

The hotel was created for complete reboot and relaxation. The hotels have only 8 rooms. everything is surrounded by greenery. Ideal beach. The feeling of surviving alone on a desert island. Large room with all amenities. Excellent bed, linens and towels. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good home cooking. The cook is simply a virtuoso. He copes well with the equipment and products available on the island. Everything was tasty and varied. I lived with my son for 5 years. We took 2 excursions for fishing and snorkeling. It was magical. Prices for excursions are very low. Staff member Hussen made our holiday exceptional. We recommend a stay at this hotel if you are looking for rest and relaxation. Carry anti-Komarov spray and a remedy for sand fly bites. Local shops can be found on the island. There is a children's playground. And a mosque. There is nothing else interesting on the island
