We went specifically to play Pickleball and found a great group of people to play with at the PikNPad. Beach was close and the strand of beach is great for walking. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Always felt safe. 😊

P.V. is really a collection of experiences - everything from wild, from exclusive all-inclusive resorts, to crazy nightlife, from quiet neighbourhoods and friendly beaches to huge shopping malls and entertainment centres. Like many tourism-based destinations, you can make of it what you will.

We have been coming to the Puerto Vallarta area for over 30 years. This area north of PV has gone through many changes and now has come to the south end of Bucerias. We were very impressed with the standard of care that is being done with the improvements to the area. Many new condo building, but not to the point of overcrowding. Great improvements to the streets. Many new restaurant that exceeded our expectations. An area that we will come back to again.

They have a few really good eating establishments and an amazing Sunday market at the Marina! Sadly the roads within La Cruz are terrible, the beach line is very dirty lots of stay dogs and cats sadly. Taxis charge way too much so make sure you ask prices before you get in.

I went for a medical reason, not for vacation.
I went for a medical reason, not for vacation. After going I personally wouldn’t choose puerto Vallarta for vacation unless you stay in hotel Moussai or Garza Blanca or anywhere near that area because those beaches are blue. I stayed at Playa Royale which are apartments right next to the hard rock hotel and when I tell you that beach is murky. It’s like going to Galveston beach. So I do not recommend at all. If you want nice beaches in Mexico, I’d do Cancun or Cabo’s. Although it is very safe for tourists, you won’t ever feel like you’re in danger and people are friendly.

The Botanical Gardens are well worth visiting.
The Botanical Gardens are well worth visiting. The convenient bus from PV is only 50 pesos each way and departs from the old town 5 blocks up from the ocean. The gardens are a ¾ hour drive into the mountains. The restaurant is excellent. The paved and gravel trails are easy to follow; the variety of plants is amazing both in the formal gardens and the natural areas. Large pond koi fish are impressive, as is the Garden Chapel interior.

Beautiful country, the best restaurant in the bay for breakfast/lunch is LUNA LUNA. Lots of flowering plants and tropical trees still line the streets....MANY condo developments and lots of construction happening in the 'golden zone'. East of the 200 highway is a more authentic area to stay if you want a local experience outside of the condo/hotel areas.

Loved the views and the amenities.
Loved the views and the amenities. The beach was beautiful and clean. Perfect for small children and all ages.
The villa came with everything you could want. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The chef was exceptional. She even went grocery shopping for us. This made travelling in a group of 10 much easier.
Getting around Crux de Huanacaxtle is not easy from Real del Mar. But the beach was so beautiful, we did not want to be anywhere else, except for the villa, which was so comfortable.

Gigantic and lively int'l city-wide street party atmosphere in play every day.. All kinds of talented street performers, artists, day and evening activity. The whole town is in a good mood. All the locals seem to welcome with open arms the entire tourism crowd. Everybody is in a happy and festive mood. Very international destination. The street food vendors, the restaurants, the shops and everything is spectacular., Puerto Vallarta tourism department has really made this town a truly world-class destination. Fantastic beaches and boardwalk, plazas and outdoor celebrations abound.
