Located on the beautiful Redang Island, Redang Island Resort offers standalone chalets that overlook the sea or rainforest. The property offers an outdoor pool, spa and free Wi-Fi in public areas. the staff is amazingly supportive and went out of the way to accommodate our requirements for food and travel. The resort in itself is located with an amazing view from each chalet.

It's easy to see why The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort is the best rated on Redang Island. Even before arrival, their staff responded quickly when coordinating a boat transfer from Merang Waterfront Jetty to the island. This was especially important because we were traveling towards the end of monsoon season and the public ferries were not scheduled to run until several days after our departure from Malaysia. They carefully loaded and wrapped our suitcases for the ferry over to the island and transported them--and us--by private buggy to the property. Upon arriving, we were warmly welcomed by several members of staff who quickly managed check-in and informed us that my brother and I would each be receiving a 300 MYR credit for food. The credit we received at check-in was enough to cover our lunches and dinners for the duration of our stay, which was a welcome surprise at check-out when we received our itemized bill and did not need to pay any additional fees for meals. Breakfasts were included and we were also able to book scuba diving at the recreation desk. A member of staff took us to our beautiful room, which felt more like a spacious apartment we had to ourselves than a resort, and enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful white sand beaches. The view of the resort's private beach from the gym was spectacular. Make sure you book massages early at the spa because they fill up quickly. Each member of the staff we interacted with went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Glory and her team at the spa displayed a great attention to detail with the room setup and a relaxing start to the day. As a local of the island, our Divemaster Aiman was careful and professional when introducing the dive, the wildlife, and a bit of history about the island. Melissa went above and beyond in taking personal responsibility for our stay and exuded kindness in every interaction. Taaras is lucky to have her as a member of the team!

I had a wonderful stay at Peridot by the sea Redang! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was modern, spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with all the little touches that made it feel extra comfortable. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to Rahim and Anuar for being incredibly attentive and doing their best to accommodate all our requests — their warmth and professionalism really made the trip special. Only after you made the booking, the PIC contact will be shared to you and you can discuss on the boat transfers. The beachfront room is amazing. Just 10 steps from our room to a white sand beach and crystal-clear water, with no boats parked in front — after more than 5 visits to Redang, the beach/sea still amazes me every time. The highlight was the snorkeling trip they arranged — an absolute gem! We had a private boat with a maximum of 10 guests, which made the whole experience peaceful, comfortable, and far more personal compared to the crowded 20–30 people boats offered by other operators. The price was also very reasonable. While the hotel is not yet 100% fully operational and some areas are still under renovation, there’s no noise disturbance at all. Since you’re here for the beach and relaxation, a perfect, comfortable room and the stunning surroundings are more than enough to make your stay memorable. They also offer room service dinner, which is great if you want to stay in after a long day. If you’d rather eat out, there are plenty of restaurants and bars on the island — just remember it’s island pricing, so don’t expect it to be as cheap as on the mainland.

Set in Setiu, 36 km from State Museum of Terengganu, Villa Uda @ SIBLINGS Cottage has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Its one of the best locations in Merang area with a perfect secluded beach to watch Sunrise. The owner was nice enough. There were no lights in front of my Chalet, on my request, the owner immediately fixed broken lights.

Very nice stay. And very supportive staffs. Actually I have left out my charger and my daughter’s watch in the room. I informed them I will get it once I returned from Redang. And today they have returned it to me in good condition as they promised. Very kind of them. Thank you so much.

I like because the facilities all clean and tidy. The receptionist was so kind. Always smiling. Very professional. They also got their own boat services!

Set in Setiu, within 35 km of State Museum of Terengganu and 37 km of Crystal Mosque, VILLA WANIE INN offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi as well as free private parking... It was extra clean! Which is not normal in Malaysia... ( after my 2 weeks experience ) The bed was supercosy! I slept very good. Nice sheets. The staff was extremly nice and polite! The islandtours are 10 minutes by foot, excellent fun! I really love it and can only recommend it 👍😊🪷
