Afternoon sundowners from the pool with a view to some dunes were a highlight of the trip. Fantastic location, inside the first gate to sossusvlei. Easy to arrive at the park early in the morning and avoid the crowds. Friendly and helpful staff, always eager to help. Food was very good, especially the braai night. Can’t wait to come back.

Great location to visit the National park. Great bathroom for a campsite. Shelter from sun. Small pool for cooling off. Bbq available. Loved it. Also great star gazing. Highly recommend.

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. Everything here was exceptional. The staff, extremely friendly, the food fantastic, the view unbelievable, the room clean and cool. So far, on our Namibia Trip, this was the best place to stay, we even got our room fairly early in the day and could enjoy a nice cold drink at the pool.

Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Clearest sky and enjoyed the total silence at night. Nice, big, clean room with a kitchenette outside. Late check out and an amazing half day at the pool with an amazing view. Dinner at the lodge 5 min driving from the "camp" was good too. Pool towels a +.

Unforgettable memories, amazing views, exceptional team, Engela and all the team did all their best to make our stay agreeable, we loved the place, chalet 203 is quiet and with privacy. The fox visited us each night and the birds gave the special touch. We ordered fresh food which was delicious, and also had dinner at the lodge from the same group, we can recommend, enough vegetarian options

With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 46 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. Beautiful property. Very nice room. Great experience. Excellent staff especially Allen in the restaurant and Abdul in the bar. Friendly and helpful. Not cheap but highly recommended.

Le Mirage Resort & Spa is a unique desert oasis located 100 km from Solitaire, Namibia. It offers luxury accommodation and gourmet dining. what a magical place. this fort like hotel was in the middle of the desert. The rooms were spacious and looked out onto the desert. sitting and watching the oryx every afternoon was a highlight. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The dinners were fabulous as well. the location is perfect for hot air ballooning and visiting Sossousvlei. What a gem in the desert.

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool. Everything was just perfect. Food was fabulous. The sundowner was so special and beautiful. We loved our guide Enos. He was a great guy and very knowledgeable.
