Each room has a beautiful view overlooking the desert where we saw animals (oryx and springbok) roaming freely. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was huge!! The buffet for breakfast and dinner caters to all tastes and needs. The service from the staff was very friendly and efficient.

Located in Sesriem, in Namib Desert, Desert Camp offers luxurious self-catering units, with private bathrooms. Only 5 km away from Sossusvlei Lodge, it features an outdoor pool. After a stay in the neighbouring camp, we knew Desert Camp would be a hit. Is has beautiful cottages, with plenty of storage space behind the bed/in the bathroom. The shower is great and my kids loved the pool. But what sets apart this accommodation is the possibility to have breakfast and dinner at the Sossusvlei lodge, which is always good and definitely a highlight. The location is wonderful as well of course, you are right next to the Sossusvlei park.

With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 34 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. Excellent employees, helpful, friendly and welcoming. Great location and the watering hole meant I got to see more animals than expected. Given was an exceptional guide for my tours also.
