It is that kind of an appartment where I would wanne live in! It feels straight away like home, everything is beautiful furnished and decorated to the detail, big windows to the sea, to the garden, nice living room and kitchen whith everything you need. A bathroom with shower and washing machine, 2 rooms with very comfortable beds and cozy fluffy sheets and what I liked most was the fresh smelling bed sheets! Everything was super clean! And on top of that you can charge your electric car for free. Over all I didn't want to leave that place hahaha! If you are in that area you have to stay at this place! Cozy small house with amazing view ligt in Hennes en biedt een terras, skiën tot aan de deur en een barbecue. Very cosy old house with tons of Norwegian charm surrounded by amazing nature in a quiet area that seems less crowded with tourism. The views from any direction of the house are just stunning. Perfect place to go and disconnect from reality, as the house is a bit away from the normal touristy paths of Lofoten. Good hiking trails nearby the house offering more lovely views and the company of reindeers on the hike. Close by is a little self-service supermarket with good selection of basic goods. The house was clean and had all the basic needs we needed and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had. On a 5 week roadtrip through Norway, this place and area still stands out as a favourite and we all wished we could have stayed forever!

Melbu Hotell is located in the small fishing village Melbu, centrally located in the Vesterålen and Lofoten regions. All rooms have a TV and free WiFi. We hadden gekozen voor een gerenoveerde kamer en die was t.o.v andere hotelkamers best groot en gezellig ingericht. Parkeren rond gebouw is gratis. Aangename vloerverwarming in badkamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel.
