Located next to Auckland International Airport, Novotel Auckland Airport offers elegant modern accommodation, a restaurant, a bar and a fully equipped fitness centre. I'd spent 25 hours travelling from the UK, and was delighted to find a hotel literally across the road from the airport. Room and facilities were great. Everything very comfortable and convenient. The staff at reception were genuinely friendly and I felt valued and sincerely welcomed. It was a brilliant start to my first (and probably only) visit to NZ.

ibis Budget Auckland Airport boasts the essentials for a short stopover in the airport vicinity. Small rooms if you have a lot of luggage but perfectly good for a stopover at the airport. Bus adds $8per adult per direction which i didn't realise. This may make the Hotels right in the airport more competitive.
