Property was clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, will stay here again.

We love everything in the motel. The kitchen at it,s designated area( best with dish drainer ), the spacious toilet ( best if the water pressure is stronger ) and the comfortable linen ( bed could be too soft if u are not young ). We were given room 1 which was just beside the road. I thought it would be noisy but surprisingly not. Overall, we are really happy staying here. Too bad we only stay one night here. My children wish we can stay more night.

Situated in Oamaru in the Otago region, The Shepherd's Rest features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to an open-air bath. The property has mountain views. The host was amazing, so helpful and just lovely to talk to. The accommodations were perfect. It was very clean and the design and decor made it a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
