Location, clean & tidy, value for money… The staff/management were absolutely amazing and did an awesome job accommodating us, especially cos we had a few family members staying here throughout the 5 days. Highly recommend Carramar Motor Inn - The Ranginui Whanau!

Set in Palmerston North in the Manawatu region, Modern, Cozy and Spacious 3 bedroom Home near City Centre features a patio. This was a fabulous house for our group of five adults. The house is modern, clean, warm and comfy. While it's location is away from any shops to walk to, meaning you are reliant on having transport, it is in a quiet neighbourhood. Loved the main shower.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities, Aztec Motel is just 350 metres from Palmerston North Hospital. It offers heated accommodation with a Smart 32-inch TV. We really enjoyed staying at Aztec Motel. Damon is super friendly and knowledgable about Palmy. The motel's location is quite central in that it's a quick drive into the centre of town. There's a great fish n chips place just up from the motel too. No problems with parking and there's a coin laundry room if you need it. The room was super clean and it was spacious with everything that you need. The pool / outdoor Picnic area is neat, but we couldn't make use of it because it was raining during our whole stay.

Palmerston North seems to have everything people would need great shops / Parks / Cossie club/ the only thing drivers would find confusing is the One-way systems .. also car Parking costs seem to be on all streets within the main areas.
The square in Palmy is great. Have a good explore around. If you can, go to a show at the Regent on Broadway. It is a beautiful theatre. Popeyes is now open on the way out of town, it is delicious. EB games is in one of the malls and well worth checking out if thats your sort of thing
Accommodation was well below standard be very careful of the right ups and photos as they can be very miss leading. Apart from that the venues that we attend was well worth the time we had in the city of Palmerston North plus there was a great selection of places to eat out at
Weather was windy and cold, just the season. But a variety of shopping and plenty to do is always great in Palmerston North. Always something to do. Close to other places, Sanson, Bulls and Ohakea Base and Linton camp. Well worth visiting.
I attended an event at the Palmy Conference Centre. Really enjoyed that you can walk out the conference centre and go to numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants just across the road. I wouldn't make a special trip to Palmerston North but I would be happy to sat there on my way through. Lots of very reasonable places to stay. It was good the the Palmy Conference Centre offered free parking for attendee's BUT the PALMERSON NORTH CITY COUNCIL fined many people for parking in he wrong place because the parking instructions were not that clear. RUDE. They need to do better. Attendee had older car stolen on first day so be a bit cautious.
I only the best was great bridge set up for bridge venues and the convention centres and the number of people were so big that the convention centre couldn't hold so they opened the bridge club as well so both venues were so full and that's where I went to play cards and both places they were great had no time to go other places as we walk to our venues and had great restaurants to have dinner
