The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. 2. Though, it is 10 miles from downtown, but the driving time is only 11 minutes. so it is actually very convinient. 3. The setting of the place is beautiful and we have our own small house. From the backyard, we can see the mountains, the view is just unbelievable. 4. It is very quiet and you can even star gazing at night, which we did and this is something I have always want to do. 5. Given the surrounding, location and facility, the price is very reasonable. If we go to Wanaka again, we will definitely stay here again.

Boasting garden views, The Artist's House Wanaka offers accommodation with patio, around 11 km from Puzzling World. We loved the Artist's House in Wanaka. The host, Sonia, was absolutely amazing. Each room is fully private with a shared kitchen, living area, bathroom, and outdoor space. The best part is that the art in the house is all Sonia's! She was so welcoming, showing us around and how everything worked when we set up and she even came over the morning to make us a flat white! The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the swimming hole in the river that runs behind her property or make pizza in her outdoor pizza oven (ingredients and instructions are provided).
