Had a great stay at Fafapiti recently. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, the room was spacious and well-maintained, and the meals (particularly dinner) were excellent. Highly recommended.

Our stay was absolutely amazing – more than ideal! The newly built bungalows are absolutely beautiful: clean, stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully well-equipped with everything you need. The private beach and lagoon are magical - peaceful, pristine, and literally just steps away from your private, spacious front terrace. It’s a true slice of paradise. Isabelle and Kelly go above and beyond in every way. Their hospitality is unmatched—they are incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel like family. From the moment we arrived, they took the time to learn about our interests and helped us book unforgettable excursions with awesome, trusted local guides. Isa and Kelly were always available, warm, and attentive, genuinely passionate about creating meaningful experiences for their guests. And Isabella’s cooking… wow! She brought us homemade breakfasts to our terrace each morning, plus a delicious homecooked dinner that was one of the best meals of our entire trip. Honestly, we originally planned to stay on the north side of the island, but choosing Fareana Lodge was the best decision we could have made. It’s serene, spacious, and feels like your own private paradise with the best hosts you could ask for. We felt lucky to stay on the more remote side of the island to see all that Fakarva has to offer. Isa and Kelly were truly a trip highlight, sharing their time, culture, and laughs. We can't wait to stay at Fareana Lodge again!

Its really quiet , the bungalow is big. new fans , surprisingly good internet which is very useful to contact local hire and tour people. bed comfortable. basic cooking facilites but all you need. if we had had any break in the cloud I bet the stars would have been amazing. the people managing the property were quietly helpful and tolerant of our terrible/ non existant french. we hired an electric scooter from faka tere which was good value, they dropped off and picked up the scooter for a small fee and were really friendly- would highly recommend as then its super easy to get around. they let us have late check out which was so appreciated , as somewhat limited options otherwise, unless you arrange to go to the airport direct from a tour. we found everyone we encoutered very friendly and it felt very safe. we wished we had more time to stay for either the weather to clear or to settle in to atol pace of life. the rugged ocean side the bungalow is on does have amazing shells and coral beach and at night all you hear is the waves (and in our case the wind and rain ). we briefly used the pool, even though it was raining it was still quite humid and was a nice way to cool off as its not possible to swim in the ocean due the reef.
