Our stop here was the highlight of the entire trip! While the house is small, it is well-equipped and has nearly everything you could wish for. The bed is wonderful; I can't remember the last time I slept as well as I did here!

Large, free parking place right outside. Hard working, friendly receptionist who also tended the bar while checking us in. Very good breakfast, which we were also allowed to eat on the spacious porch. One of the only hotels I've stayed in that actually has a garden that the guests may use for sun bathing, frisbee golf or just whatever.

Located next to Umeå University, Hotell Björken offers basic rooms with cable TV. Umeå Central Station is a 5-minute drive away and Umeå Airport is an 8-minute drive from the hotel. If you are visiting Umea university this is the perfect place to stay. Everything else, breakfast, room, staff were also good and professional.

Hotel 1861 is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. Beautiful and interesting historic building, comfortable rooms and facilities (the showers were great, shampoo and soap was provided!) and very elaborate breakfast. The hotel had everything we needed and more. The best thing about this accommodation were the two hosts - thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. It used to be a medical center and the room is unexpectedly spacious, comfortable. The staffs are very friendly. It has an indoor parking garage. Breakfast is good. You can make your own waffle, coffee for whole day. Nice and relax. Walking distance to the nice surroundings. Definitely stay again if we visit this place again.

The breakfast was amazing, staff very friendly, beds we’re very comfortable, the room was clean and overall it was a great stay.

U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. Easy online check-in and customer support. Excellent breakfast! Very good central location.

This central Umeå hotel is just 50 metres from the Umeälven River. It provides free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as modern rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. The location was very convenient. Everything was easily accessible by walking - shopping, restaurants, bus and train stations. The breakfast was exceptional. The hours were reasonable, the selection was great, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere of the hotel was great. It was an older building, but obviously had been completely updated, so it had a lot of character but was very comfortable. The eating area was in a large glass covered courtyard that really added to the experience.
