Our stop here was the highlight of the entire trip! While the house is small, it is well-equipped and has nearly everything you could wish for. The bed is wonderful; I can't remember the last time I slept as well as I did here!

Located next to Umeå University, Hotell Björken offers basic rooms with cable TV. Umeå Central Station is a 5-minute drive away and Umeå Airport is an 8-minute drive from the hotel. We had a great night's sleep, comfy beds, really good shower pressure and overall the place was clean.

Hotel 1861 is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. Beautiful and interesting historic building, comfortable rooms and facilities (the showers were great, shampoo and soap was provided!) and very elaborate breakfast. The hotel had everything we needed and more. The best thing about this accommodation were the two hosts - thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. Very comfortable hotel close to the city centre. Very helpful staff. Rooms are cosy and the beds very comfortable.

Situated in the heart of Umeå, Elite Hotel Mimer faces the Twin Towns Park and the main commercial pedestrian street. Guests have free WiFi along with free access to a sauna and fitness centre. As normal, our stay at the Elite Mimer was wonderful! Their included breakfast buffet was the star as always, but we also enjoy the sauna, closeness to the city center, comfortable rooms, and friendliness of the staff. Great place to stay.

U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. Perfect location right in the city centre and yet by the riverside and parks. Fantastic ambience, great breakfast and very comfortable rooms with great views. I can only recommend this hotel!

This central Umeå hotel is just 50 metres from the Umeälven River. It provides free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as modern rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. The location was very convenient. Everything was easily accessible by walking - shopping, restaurants, bus and train stations. The breakfast was exceptional. The hours were reasonable, the selection was great, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere of the hotel was great. It was an older building, but obviously had been completely updated, so it had a lot of character but was very comfortable. The eating area was in a large glass covered courtyard that really added to the experience.
