CanadaI had booked a one-night stay for my wife and 9-year-old son at YOTEL Istanbul Airport Landside during their 16-hour transit. Unfortunately, due to my son's passport being close to expiration (only ten days left), they were not allowed to leave the transit area and reach the hotel. Thankfully, there was another YOTEL located on the airside within the transit area.
They decided to take a chance and approached the staff at YOTEL Istanbul Airport airside access, asking if it was possible to change their reservation from the landside to the airside. It felt like a long shot, but to our delightful surprise, the staff swiftly and effortlessly accommodated their request within about ten minutes. The employees were friendly, helpful, and made the process incredibly smooth. I cannot express my gratitude enough. You truly made their layover hassle-free, sparing them from 16 hours of discomfort. This act of kindness will always be etched in my memory.

United StatesAttentive polite staff, I had a problem at the airport. My suitcase broke. I was very happy that I was able to buy a new suitcase at the hotel. A comfortable small room. And a comfortable bed allowed me to get a good night's sleep before the next flight. At the reception desk, manager Guzel showed a great care and attention. I appreciate it.

United KingdomI would highly recommend this place as it's very close to the airport, with very nice owner who explained me everything on WhatsApp. He was so nice, my flight was delayed 2 hours and he was still waiting for me to arrive. When I was coming in the taxi we went outside of his house to meet me. It was so nice, and safe for me as I am women solo traveler. It felt like a family. He offered me a free water, he even gave me better room with beautiful view and private toilet. I definitely will be back. I am very greatfull to choose this place.

Still not sure if it is Booking.com or the hotel's error ... WHY if you agree 'pay later' does the hotel try to block the card ... did this the last time we booked ... Also WHY did they try to charge us for a second day, still on first day, when we had only booked for one night ? They denied it, but I had frozen the travel card and saw they tried

Unfortunately my experience got influenced a lot by taxi drivers between hotel and airport. The same way was at different price every time, taxi drivers at the airport don't speak English which is ridiculous. Nobody tells you even approximate price, even though they know exact location. The taxi meter shows whatever they want or so, impossible to read between lines.
Willingness and friendly behavior are almost unknown to people in this location. This can be addressed with a system of who is allowed to have a business at the airport. I don't hold out hope that anything will change. People will pay even for rude treatment. Sad reality and statement.

The hotel was perfect for our needs - an overnight stay close to Istanbul airport but away from the traffic chaos and bustle of a big international airport. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The bathroom was well-appointed with great water pressure in the shower. The hotel staff were welcoming and attentive. The traditional Turkish breakfast was great, with perfectly cooked eggs. The transfer from the airport was, however, a disaster. There was no indication which of the men at the rendezvous point was meeting us and after we eventually found our greeter, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the driver. The hotel staff were apologetic and made sure our transfer the next day was on time.

It was my second stay at the same hotel.
It was my second stay at the same hotel. I believe it is the best option for travellers who need a break for a couple of days in between the flights. Only 10 min drive from the airport by taxi (10€). The staff is helpful and friendly, great value, nice restaurant, big rooms, beautiful quiet area around, very nice pool. Will stay there again when travelling via Istanbul.

If you want an inexpensive clean room during your layover, this hotel will be good. But you must consider this hotel and other hotels are on the flight path. I personally could not sleep all night, so I never go back to any hotels in this area.

This is a newly built seaside location, with nice beach...
This is a newly built seaside location, with nice beach front walks and up and coming businesses.
Unfortunately, of the 3 days we were there, swimming was prohibited for 2, with police and lifeguards chasing people out of the water. Luckily, on day 3 - even though the waves were the same - we were allowed to go in.
The place is popular with locals, on weekend the beach was full of families all day, and full of people with picnics in the evening.

Nice hotel for a relaxing overnight stay not far from airport.
The territory of hotel is charming, the view is fantastic.
The bathroom could be better (only shower and a bit dark) but totally fine for the price.

Nothing about this stay was good.
Nothing about this stay was good. The staff were unsupportive, unhelpful, and could not communicate in English, making even the simplest requests frustrating. There was no effort to assist guests or provide a pleasant experience. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of money, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.
