Everything! The room was comfortable and very clean. There were quite a few little and thoughtful things to find, like a package of paper handkerchiefs at the sink or that the lamp next to the bed had a socket included, so that I didn’t have to worry about where to charge my phone. I also enjoyed the breakfast: They had coffee, tea, and juice, bagels and a variety of things to put on them, some cereals and some fruit.
I definitely have slept (and felt) worse for twice the price. Wow!

The workers were amazing. One interesting thing though, between the hotel and the speedway gas station it looked like there was a homeless person who had set up a tent and was running a generator. That's not the hotel's fault, but it didn't make me a little nervous having my daughter with me.

This property does not take responsibility for unclean rooms upon check-in. Our room very obviously was not vacuumed before our arrival, and glass shards were discovered on the floor. The toilet was clogged and would not flush. We did not stay at this property and immediately following check-in, initiated the refund process for the poor condition of this property, and irresponsibility of hotel staff.

The cabin was about a half hour drive to MerleFest.
The cabin was about a half hour drive to MerleFest. Very beautiful setting and cabin, with modern appliances. But bring your own shampoo and conditioner since it's not provided.
We drove into town and visited the courthouse museum, and took the guided tour of the jailhouse and the oldest house in the area - definitely recommended. Then ate twice at Dooley's restaurant - excellent.
