Everything: it is clean, great location, has coffee maker fridge and microwave, wifi, desk, complimentary breakfast, it is a classic motel-style place, so doesn't have that impersonal feel of a chain. Staff friendly, and just a good vibe. It is an older building but well kept up, freshly painted. Lots of hot water, tub, AC. The bathroom was tight quarters but the tub took up most of the space (which was reallly nice) the staff were absolutely wonderful! The price was well worth it, how ever the complimentary breakfast was rather bleak🤷🏻♀️ how ever I would recommend this inn for a weekend get away to anyone looking! 10/10 it’s within walking distance of stores and food! And driving distance isn’t to far either😁

Brunswick is very nice, but do not stay at the Rodeway Inn. We had no hot water for a shower. The owner refused to give us a discount. He did not come to the room first to check the water, but went to his control room and then must have adjusted the switch to give us hot water. He was defensive. The window sill had rotted wood, a filty venetian blind and ther was no kleenex in the room. The breakfast was mediocre.
I know Brunswick well as I lived in Bath. I was just staying overnight in the motel after loading truck for my move to another state. It is a pleasant college town, but that makes the motels there expensive.
Brunswick is a little jewel of a town. It has Bowdoin University. College towns are usually wonderful places. Brunswick is well situated in the exceedingly lovely Casco Bay Region with a great shoreline and very picturesque islands. Brunswick has great restaurants and many amenities.
Nice place to stay for a few days - a good jumping-off point before heading north to Acadia etc. Not a whole lot to see but it's a very pleasant and clean town. Plenty of places to eat but on the pricey side imo. Twice Told Books is great if you like hunting for 2nd hand books at bargain prices. Weekend flea-market is another highlight. The Naval Aviation Museum is well worth a visit if you're interested in Cold War history. The staff in the visitors' centre were very friendly and helpful for me.
When using the cross walks, pay attention to to which crosswalk button you push. Sometimes there are 2 different button on separate poles. One for one direction, and the other for another. They speak to you but, traffic can make it difficult to hear what they say. I thought it told me to walk sideways across the crosswalk. I was like, " man they expect you to carb walk across these thjngs?" Also if you get a chance to visit the swinging bridge, if you are turning right, it looks like it is a split entrance until you find yourself parked on the sidewalk! But do get out and walk across the bridge, even if you have to keep your eyes closed and have someone guide you! There are some nice walking trails and beaches on the other side.
My only complaint is most eateries are closed on Mondays, like most towns, hard to find a good seafood restaurant in the area. Hard to navigate the town, lots of roads were closed due to construction/repairs on the railroad? tracks.
