I have never stayed in premises as good as this.
Everything about it was excellent very large and well fitted out bedroom - very good breakfast - host so helpful in every way. Breakfast with other guests or one separate table. Other guests very entertaining and informative.
Each bedroom themed to former president with information on them and books on local history. For what you get the price is incredible. If in this area again would definitely stay here even if I had to change my dates.

The cottages are delightful, spacious, and overlook the river. They are roomy and have a well-equipped outdoor barbecue. Breakfast is included and abundant (being gluten intolerant, I couldn't eat many things unfortunately). The staff is friendly.

Everything was fantastic. The room was perfect. It was comfortable and clean, nicely decorated and well taken care of. Loved the refrigerator with separate large freezer, the microwave and the coffee maker. We would stay again.

Ogdensburg is the home of the Fredrick Remington Museum , which is well worth visiting if you like painting and sculpture. The town is located on the south shore of the St Lawrence seaway, which is very scenic and near a bridge to Canada. I was on my way to Quebec City, and stopping in Ogdensburg to visit the museum was well worth the time.

It's a nice little town on the St Lawrence Seaway.
It's a nice little town on the St Lawrence Seaway. It has all the amenities you might want. Bobby's Restaurant and Katarina's are great places to eat. There's a large Independent Grocery store and a Giant Tiger. You see the occasional ship going by and Fort Wellington is an interesting historic site.

Ogdensburg is strategically located if you need accommodations for Canton and Potsdam given that the two towns have four universities between them. But it's also just across the border from Ontario Canada with short drives to Ottawa, Upper Canada Village, Kingston and Montreal.

The location on the river was lovely.
The location on the river was lovely. Stayed in the hotel which was cozy, I am sure the cottages are wonderful. Peaceful, clean, comfortable. The only thing that was missing was the restaurant which has not reopened since covid.
