I was travelling on my own, so it was perfect to access the hotel with my luggage on arrival, and on departure too, as I had a super early flight at 5am. Nice large room. Very clean. Yes, the hotel is a little old fashioned, but the location more than makes up for this.

The lobby in the hallways were a little different, but the staff were very nice. The rooms were immaculate and very clean. The value for the room was excellent. A lot of my friends stayed at the Hilton or the Doubletree I chose to Microtel. The Continental was above expectation and I thought the desk staff and all of the maids and everyone on staff, there were excellent even the driver of the shuttle. I would definitely stay there again and I was traveling alone in Philadelphia being a female, I felt safe at the hotel. I enjoyed visiting Philly. I will definitely stay there again this time with my husband, but just wanted to recommend this because some of the other hotels are outrageous and these rooms were immaculate. Everything was stocked and if you would think you were at a Doubletree without the price of the Hilton or the Doubletree, the lobby and the highway did not look like Hilton or Doubletree but once she get in the room, you don’t care .
