Lovely house set on the banks of the Mississippi river. So warm and full of character and we had amazing views. Dan was an awesome host and we had a wonderful time at this place. Loved the dogs too!

The service of the staff, especially the manager lied to me on several times, would not refund my security deposit right away, even though the room was well care for and left in a neat manor. Keep saying I had to wait 4-5 business to receive it. And no Ice machine, the TV didn't work. Very disappointed.

My sister and I like the Treasure Chest Thrift store and Modern Barnyard. We like that there are lots of good restaurants to choose from. We ate at Granite City and the food was very good. Prices are reasonable and the Bloody Mary was excellent!
We also went to St. Joseph's and loved their coffee shop and stores. Walking trails are great too.

The town has lots of restaurants and shopping. It is convenient to many locations. I would NOT say at the EconoLodge or at the very least inspect the room thoroughly and let management know if you need to switch rooms immediately.

We stop here overnight on our annual 3 night trip from Chicago to the Canadian Rockies. As said in my review, we stopped here originally because of the Nelson Bros. truck stop Mall-Restaurant across the street. Food is incredible! So, amenities at Hometown Inn don't matter to us. We are just tired and hungry! But recent room and site renovations during our 2 year COVID lockdown were a welcome surprise and explained the price increase. They were well worth it, and price is still less than competition. Can't say much about Clearwater as we just eat and sleep there.

Grew up in St Cloud, attended public school through 12th grade. Western end of the city was much changed since my last visit 20 years ago. It was still extremely easy to navigate once I understood the basic layout of the streets. City has all of the amenities that any traveler would enjoy.

We came into town to see a show at the Ledge amphitheater -- we arrived a few hours before it started, went back to the hotel directly afterwards, checked out the next morning and drove home. The Ledge is a great venue, very clean and scenic and a great place to enjoy live music. It was easy to walk to the venue rather than drive and park in the big lot, which I really appreciated.

We bought our hotel (Coratel Inn & Suites by Jasper on booking.com and the description of the hotel was completely inaccurate. I paid for a suite that slept 6, and had to pay more for an additional room when I got there because they had no suites. I paid for a stay that included a continental breakfast- there was only coffee. It was dark and dirty and we froze for a while because we couldn’t get the heater working- had to get someone to help- there were no markings on the dials. There were only bedspreads- no blankets on the beds. We had to ask for blankets. We had a bed and a shower. Period. I will never stay at that hotel again.
