Every room at Hyatt Place St. Location was good close to the river. Rooms and bathrooms very big and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally good, friendly and helpful. We had problems with our connecting tour and they went out of their way to assist us with making arrangements for our tour changes. We would not have been able to make the change and join the tour on time without them. Very grateful to them. The day we arrived was July 4th and again the staff on duty were extremely helpful in guiding us around and making sure we got some food when all the restaurants in the area were closed. Really amazing to experience such great people!

We really enjoyed making a walking tour around the historic downtown buildings. We also went up to Dayton's Bluff to view the city and park area. The historic homes around that area are really fun to see as well. We also spent a lot of time walking around Union Station. Such an amazing landmark. We ate breakfast at The Buttered Tin. Delicious!

Went to St. Paul Saints game. Great ballpark. Be prepared to pay dearly for parking-$20-if you need to park close. I would like to have visited more stores, but did not get to area in time. Currently there is a lot of construction so be prepared,

Easy to get around the city.
Easy to get around the city. Streets are well signed and traffic did not seem to be too congested. We visited the St. Paul Grill at the St. Paul hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. The hotel is an historic building with the charm of the early 20th century hotels. Excellent ambience for a world class meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A great experience just outside the hustle and bustle of Minneapolis. Great quant little neighborhoods all around and quick views of the Mississippi river and all its parks and greenways. 10 minutes from MSP and feels nothing like a major city. Great food and entertainment all over the area.

We arrived in the evening and only spent the night.
We arrived in the evening and only spent the night. We were headed south to Winona and stayed in that area a couple of days. We came back to the Minneapolis area for a wedding. I throught Saint Paul would be a fun place to spend some time in but I can't give a review on any of the local establishments or any of its attractions. It was fun seeing the Fitzgerald Theatre where Garrison Keeler recorded his radio broadcasts with a live audience.

While I was there working, and St Paul has a great research facility within walking distance of the hotel, I also have a daughter and two grand daughters there. They are my favorite thing in St Paul.
