Das Shindzela ist ein Safaricamp, das sich in einer Travertin-Gegend im Naturschutzgebiet Timbavati Private Nature Reserve befindet, das Teil des Krüger-Nationalparks Südafrikas ist. Die Lodge ist sehr schön gelegen. Auf dem Gelände gibt es viele Vögel. Elefanten kamen regelmässig zum Wasserloch. Dadurch ist die Zeit zwischen den Game Drives kurzweilig. Die Unterkunft ist zweckmässig mit bequemen Betten. Das Essen und die Boma waren sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Bei den Game Drives hatten wir mehr Tiere erwartet. Herausragend war ein Hyänenbau und Nashörner aus nächster Nähe.

Das Motswari ist eine luxuriöse, familiengeführte Lodge im privaten Naturschutzgebiet Timbavati. Had an amazing stay at Motswari. Our room was clean and cozy, everyone super helpful and kind and food was great. The pool had a nice view over a creek where animals come to drink. The game drives were amazing, we did 6 and managed to see the big 5 after 4 game drives. Nice detail is that you get assigned to the same team (guide + tracker) every game drive, so you get to know them better and they know exactly which animals you've already seen and still want to see. We were with Rudolf and Lot, both very good at their jobs and nice/fun guys to be around. The reserve was managed very well, there were never more than 2 cars around an animal sighting which made it feel more special and less intrusive to the animals than in other parts of Kruger. Price was quite steep for us, but after all worth the experience. Would come back.

Wir sahen die Big Five und die schöne schützende Artenvielfalt von Tier und Natur. Das ganze Team strahlte eine warme Herzlichkeit aus. Die liebevolle Art von Dani rundete unseren Aufenthalt ab. Vielen lieben Dank an alle......wir kommen wieder.

Die Unterkunft Senalala Safari Lodge, die in Privates Naturschutzgebiet The Klaserie gelegen ist, bietet Flussblick sowie ein Restaurant, eine Gemeinschaftslounge, eine Bar, einen Garten, einen... Perfect is all I can say. The staff is so attentive and our designated guide did everything humanly possible to get us to see the big five. It was an awesome experience. Home away from home ♥️

We had been looking forward to this trip for months. And once we arrived, we were amazed. You find yourself in a paradise setting. Both the lodge and the views are unforgettable. This, combined with the “homely cosiness” created by the entire crew, makes you want to stay there forever. The game drives are of an unprecedented level. Ruan and Ntiyiso guided us and searched for trails and tracks of the animals, usually finding what they were looking for. The vastness of the area means that some days you see more game than others, but that's what makes it special because you really feel like you're not driving around in a zoo. Ruan shares his vast knowledge in a smooth and pleasant way and is always willing to provide additional explanations. (And the meals after the game drives are also great). Ruan, Ntiyiso, Caldon, Amy, Maggie and the rest of the team: we will definitely be back!

Von der in Timbavati Game Reserve gelegenen Unterkunft Kings Camp aus erreichen Sie innerhalb von 4,6 km Privates Naturschutzgebiet und Wildtierreservat Timbavati und innerhalb von 50 km Drakensig... We stayed 3 nights at King's Camp out of a total of 11 nights in South Africa and this was by far the best part of our entire trip. The place is immaculate - very large and comfortable rooms, extremely friendly staff and a beautiful location in the TImbavati game reserve. We were taken out for dawn and dusk game drives by our own dedicated ranger Cynet and spotter Sunnyboy, in vehicle we had to ourselves most of the time. All the seats were next to the side (so there were no obstructed views), there were warm blankets in the car for the cold and we stopped for sundowners every evening and watched the stars come out - and what stars - amazing views of the milky way. The game was excellent too - lions including cubs, leopard + kill, and all the rest of the big five (if that's what you're into), hyena and cubs. A big highlight was following a leopard through the bush in the car - simply unforgettable! Plus a multitude of birds from eagles to wax-bills - and our extremely knowledgeable ranger Cynet could identify them all! Our room was enormous and luxurious - private secluded pool and veranda area, carefully designed so that it was not overlooked but looked out into the bush with animals traipsing past! There's also a wonderful hide by the waterhole so you can watch the animals coming down to drink and mud-bathe - including a whole herd of elephants! The staff still have a sense of wonder about the animals they see and are just as excited as the guests. And there are steenboks and kudu who visit the grounds and wander around the rooms - and a lovely night-watchman who escorts you to and from your room after dark. The trouble with the food was that it was too good and too plentiful - hard not to gain weight! Well cooked, well presented and served by lovely, attentive staff. Every other night we had a buffet in the traditional "boma" around a fire with our guide.

Shumbalala Family made the stay unforgettable. Everything is well thought and organized, friendly and sincere. All is needed from guests is to relax and enjoy, which we truly did. Ryan was our ranger and together with the tracker arranged awesome game drives and so much information about animals, birds and flora around. Loved every moment of our stay.

Amazing place with amazing hospitality. The staff and food is fantastic. It was the best experience we ever had.
