One of the few APA chain hotels that had twin rooms with separate beds. Perfect if you travel with group and by train. Breakfast includes a big variety of both national and continental dishes, as well as home-made ice cream. A great opportunity to relax in the hot SPA baths at the hotel in the evening if you have spent the whole day on your feet. Very responsive and nice English speaking staff!

Fantastic location near Kyoto station. Room a bit bigger compared to others apa (still small compared to european standard, but manageable)

Good location, clean rooms, very good onsen, stuff, near Kyoto station, near bars and restaurants. Near hotel we found bike rentals. Recommend to rent a bike and investigate Kyoto like this.

Everything! The hotel was cozy, had night lighting, ambience, the bed was so comfy, the wifi was fast, there was nice hot shower and bathroom shampoo, soap, amenities, and the buffet breakfast was so good; There was udon, fish, nice croquettes, , duck loin, pasta, cereals, and coffee. Location was a 10; Right in the heart of Gion-shijo and near the Yasaka Shrine and the Kawamachi street where Ben's cookies (The best cookies in Japan!), all the restaurants and near the sakura mocchi store where they sell probably the most delicious mocchi in Japan. Will highly recommend!

Came back and was told they could not check because the morning lady don't understand me. The lady in the evening can understand and speak good English. Was told I can change a new room just beside my current one. Just to be sure my air con indeed don't works She came up and checked and confirmed. Room was immediately change.
