The location was perfect, very quite, beautiful garden behind a hotel. Close to our favourite Potamos beach. Restaurants around were amazing. We loved the bed, pillows, super comfy! Nice set of cosmetics. Staff was friendly and helpful. Safe parking. I love the little green garden, we had breakfast there and wines in the evening. We are going to be back For sure! The Only problem could be For people who have heavy bags and live on a higher floor - No elevator :)

Fantastic staff that went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They were polite, respectful and entertaining. We had 3 rooms all spacious and clean, with balconies and view of the pool. Food onsite was fantastic, drinks available always, pool toys for the kids. Location was fantastic, restaurants in walking distance (10mins max) and authentic food. Local shopping and bars within 10mins to 20mins. Beach was a 20min walk. The grounds were maintained everyday, green grass, beautiful trees and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Some nights the partying went on until 2-3 am, but never a disturbance. Plenty of sun beds which are setup and put away everyday.

Villa Monte Mare is a lovely place surrounded by a beautiful garden. I really enjoyed swimming in the pool and looking at the rocks and moutains above the hotel. There is also a nice view on the sea from balconies. I appreciate that it is quiet place in contrast to the noisy center of Malia. All the staff, especially Elektra and a British lady at the bar, are very nice and helpful. Their breakfasts and dinners are fresh and tasty, they also have very good wines.

This is the perfect example of a place for family or couple vacation! The room was clean, fresh, and comfortable, and the most amazing It's just a step before your toes touch the sea. The pool and the beach were incredible! We started with Cretan breakfast and then we went to chilled at the beach. The sunbeds was so comfy, and the day was gorgeous. Jiannis and Sophia and the rest of the staff were amazing. Jiannis gave us some local recommendations for tavernas and day tours as we continued our trip to Cretan Paradise. From the first minute, we felt like we knew them like best friends. They had that classic cretan hospitality, but they were also super professional. I've been traveling the world since 2010, and this place is the perfect definition of a home away from… HOME!
