Monkey Island is surrounded by nature, animals, birds, and beautiful views. The villa is located inland away from busy streets but within walking distance to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. The family owners are generous and always on hand if you need anything, but otherwise you're left to relax and enjoy your stay. This is a great place to stay long-term with fast wifi and fully equipped kitchen. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are big, bright, and spacious. Highly recommend this place to explore Hikkaduwa and the south of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰.

We had a great experience at VODA hotel! We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. We had booked a room but they gave us a nice upgrade to another room with a bathtub, which was lovely! The pool was also great, there was always a lounger available. Tanya and her husband really do everything to make you feel at home, i would 100% recommend this hotel! The location is a bit far from Unawatuna. However a tuktuk is only +- 300 LKR to the centre. This also makes that the location is very quiet and perfect to relax.

We only planned to stay at Villa Ciana for a day, but we loved it so much we stayed for a whole week! It's a beautiful place with amazing views in the middle of the rice field. Everything is new and modern. The rooms are well equipped and with AC and hot water ! We had a really relaxing time and could reach Unawatuna in a few minutes without being annoyed by the noise of the city.

The room was really big and the place was beautiful. It also has a kitchen that you can cook and prepare your meals and washing machine too. Everything was working perfect, well located, and the owner was super nice, giving us a lift for picking a bike.

The apartment boasts an excellent location – just a few steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants. Despite being close to the main street, the area is very quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The apartment is spacious, modern, and fully equipped, making it exceptionally comfortable. We particularly appreciated the functional and well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to conveniently prepare meals on-site. An additional advantage is the presence of fans and air conditioning, ensuring comfort on hot days. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful – throughout our stay, they took great care of us, offering valuable tips about local attractions and readily assisting with organizing everything we needed. Staying here was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended!
