The apartment is tastefully made and the rooms are big. Very comfortable for family of four, with two spacious bath rooms. Smooth check in and free basement parking. Very responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend place to stay in Tux region. Hintertux glacier is 15-20 mins away.

We arrived fairly late and they ensured that we were able to eat before the kitchen at the restaurant closed down. We also stayed over some rainy days and the host gave great excursion alternatives/suggestions to hiking. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need and we really appreciated having access to a washer/dryer. The apartment is large and comfortable and has many nice little touches that shows the owner really cares. If we go back to the area we will definitely book with Almdiele again.

VAYA Gerlos was a very pleasant surprise for us. First, we were very warmly received at the reception, we received very useful information about the area and the activities and we had a Summer Card for several touristic attractions. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need, including coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven, etc. The area is superb. We had daily activities, like trips by motorcycle (in Gerlos area and also in Bavaria), going up the mountain by gondola, going to the Krimml waterfall (the biggest waterfall in Europe) and so on. At 5 minutes walking distance, there is a supermarket SPAR and there are several nice restaurants. The location has also a sauna where you can relax in the afternoon. For us is was perfect in many aspects. We will stay at Vaya for sure when we will be back in this area.
