Train station ( in switzerland) is a 25 minute walk

Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.

The property has pool and river views, and is 12 km from Lugano Station. The aparthotel features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The location was perfect. We walked to dinner every night. I wish we would have been there a little earlier in the year to enjoy the pool and water activities.
