Owners allowed us to drop our bags early and we could wait in the lobby until the room was ready. After an overnight sleeper train this was very much appreciated. Location was perfect. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond for us. Short walk from train station and the walking track up to the fortress is just across the road. Breakfast was excellent too. We loved staying here. Thank you

L’établissement Bergoase Panorama-Apartments se situe à Kirnitzschtal, à respectivement 13 km et 14 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Parc national de la Suisse saxonne et Forteresse de Königstein. After arriving on the night train and riding up into the hills on hired mountain bikes to get here, we were able to check in early which was a blessed relief! (Note - The route that Google maps gave us on our bikes went off-road, and we had to walk part of the way uphill as it was too steep to ride the mountain trail, especially with our backpacks. You can also catch a local bus to the village to get here). The apartment was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The kids spent most of their time outside roaming up the hiking paths or riding their bikes up and down the hilly streets in the quiet village. This accommodation is on the edge of the village near the top of a hill and the view is lovely out towards the forests and mountains. We came in early spring and the trees were just starting to green up so I can see it would be even more spectacular in late spring and through summer and autumn. There were probably a dozen or so campers at all stages of life using the grounds with their tents and vans, as well as others staying in apartments, and it was peaceful with a feeling of camaraderie, no loud voices or music, just people chilling and a few kids roaming around doing kid stuff. This village and accommodation was a big contrast to Bad Schandau, which was literally crawling with cars and tourists (we were there over the Easter long weekend), and we were so glad we had not stayed in town but on this calming and chill mountainside.

A great hotel in Pirna - very convenient as our first stop in our Malerweg hike. Extremely nice staff - helped us with everything, arranged a ventilator (it was a very hot day) and even agreed to keep our luggage when we finished the hike even though it was a week after our stay. Highly recommended.

Situé à Bad Schandau (Saxe), l’établissement Schloss Prossen possède une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit. One of my favourite places I can remember staying. Staff were generous with their time and kind about helping us work out checking in late and charging our electric car. We very much enjoyed the stunning sauna which we booked for personal use both nights we stayed. The kitchen was very well equipped also, everything brand new, high tech and spotless.

Lovely view from our balcony, quiet at night , good public transportation, free ticket for boat to Bad Schandau. Breakfast is fine.
