Lovely modern equipped apartment, great shower, comfy bed, bottle of water on arrival and toiletries with separate conditioner. Lovely pool area, small secure complex with 8 apartments. 20 mins walk to the start of the strip, Lovely walks (and cycle routes) in both directions. Supermarket, bars and restaurants within 5 mins walk. Help was at hand with quick responses if we had any questions.

Club del Carmen is just a few steps from Los Pocillos Beach, 25 minutes' walk from Lanzarote’s Playa Grande and 40 minutes' walk from Playa Chica beaches.

After visiting all different parts of the island, I can say that this is the best location to base yourself in Lanzarote. Keep in mind that we had a rental car, which made everything much easier. The airport is 5 minutes away, the main city is 10 minutes away, Spar, bike rentals and many restaurants are a few minutes walk away. We visited all the attractions of the island and they are fairly evenly spaced from the location (20-40 minutes by car). There are also many larger shopping centers nearby. The neighborhood is quiet, the resort is quite large and offers the most different things. They have two pools, which were quite cold in February, although they said they were heated. Still it was nice for a short swim. The gym is small and only opens at 8 am, although it was often not open on the hour. The apartment was unique and had a lot of space both inside and outside, its own terrace with sun loungers and a table. They also have a tennis court that you can rent. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, various juices, sweet and savory items. It starts at 8am, which is ideal. The staff was very friendly and always smiling, I would especially praise their knowledge of English and willingness to help. They also have a playground for children and a children's pool. Rancho Texas is also a 5-minute drive away, which is a very popular animal and theme park for children. There is also a market in the basement of the resort, which we didn't use, and a spa where you can get a massage. I would most certainly return to this resort on my second visit!

Hotel Floresta offers spacious apartments located 200 metres from Lanzarote’s Playa de los Pocillos Beach. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

I liked everything. Location, food, reception people are very good and helpfull, restaurant service was very good. Was very clean around. I have already booked another holiday for the next November.

We had a beautiful stay at Asa and Johnny’s, they have been incredibly kind hosts, giving us precious advices and helping us understanding also the kind of things we wanted to see and giving us tips for a more “authentic Lanzarote” trip. The apartment is little but cozy, everything you need is there, a small kitchen and a very useful microwave. The pool is just perfect to relax a little bit just before dinner and the surroundings of the Villa are just amazing, we enjoyed also the big terrace which is perfect if you are luckier than us and have the chance to see a sunset. Asa and Johnny have been so gentle with us from the instant we entered their home, providing us anything we needed and also some lovely chat, their hospitality is definitely the best asset of Villa Estrella Polar!

Having a shower tray on the ground rather than the shower in a bath tub was a great help to me as I suffer from bad arthritis.
