Therefore it is very quiet, yet every sight is within a pleasant and short walk. There is no parking space, but a parking garage is nearby. The place was squeaky clean. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very elegantly furnished in every detail. Breakfast was excellent, with a large selection. The host was gracious and helpful. The staff was very nice. A bit of advice if I may: I think a coffee maker in the room would be greatly appreciated. To summarize, a great place to stay, at a very reasonable cost.

Situated within 2 km of Parma Train Station and 1.3 km of Parco Ducale Parma, La Corte del Maggiore features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Parma. This recently renovated aparthotel is located 7.3 km from Fiere di Parma Exhibition Centre and 1.2 km from Birthplace And Museum of Arturo Toscanini Museum. Galleria Nazionale di Parma is 1.5 km away and Palazzo della Pilotta is 1.5 km from the aparthotel. Everything was perfect. The owner was waiting for me to give me the key, although I arrived in Parma late. He walked with me to the gated parking next door, showed me the code, walked me back to the entrance of the hotel, showed me the code for that. He walked me to my room, he showed me everything important. Very efficient and simple. The room had all amenities I needed and a nice view of the street. It was not big but the right size for a single traveler (got the smaller room). The parking charge is very good (5 euros) and the gentleman was kind enough to let me keep the car parked after check-out for few hours, so that I could see more of Parma. You can reach the river (and start of the old town) within 15 minutes on foot. My experience was excellent.
