Each air-conditioned unit has a kitchenette with a microwave and stovetop. The seating area has a flat-screen TV. I unaccidently left my cloth. Informed Lodge and happily informed us found the cloth. I was able to collect on my return trip. View of the lake from Lodge was spectacular. Thank you Lodge.

Situated on a picturesque rose garden, Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo is 2 minutes' walk from Lake Taupo and 20 minutes' walk from Taupo City Centre. It is 2.7 km from Taupo Airport.

Most rooms at Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo has a private thermal hot tub (except for the 3-bedroom apartment), which can fit 4 to 6 people. Most units have a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and kitchen utensils. There are free satellite channels, free WiFi and free parking. Some units have a balcony with lake views. Its important to note I booked a room with a Thermall spa/pool and it was soooooooooooo awesome!!! I used it every night and would definitely stay here again. The staff was wonderful and actually attending to the beautiful garden in the middle of the property upon my arrival. My room was clean and included a well stocked kitchen area (fridge, stove, pots/pans, coffee/cream, etc.). Now it is an older property so please do not expect the Marriott, however, if you want a unique experience with an insanely beautiful garden area, this is your property. It is important to note it is a short drive to the city center, but I was able to walk 20-30 minutes to nearby pub which is along the lake with wonderful views. DEFINITELY GET THE THERMAL TUB IF YOU"RE ABLE!!!!
