We are a small family of 3 and we chose the area to of course visit Billund. But although the main reason for visiting the area was Legoland and Lego House we didn't want to stay in Billund as it did not represent value for money. I found this accommodation whilst looking for something a short drive away and it looked perfect! Our expectations were exceeded! The accommodation is clean and has everything you might need. It is a short drive away from a huge supermarket called Bilka which when compared to smaller supermarkets was great value. The drive into Billund was an easy 20 minutes which felt like 10 when cow, deer, bird and hare spotting on route! It was also a very short drive into Vejle which is a lovely town. The property has a beautiful garden, comfortable beds and is a lovely escape from the chaos in the chalet complexes in Billund - not to mention it is half the price!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The owner was very kind and helpful. Everything matched the description perfectly, and personally, I believe everything was great. I don’t understand the comments about the kitchen, as everything necessary was available—of course, as long as you came to relax and not to pretend to be Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen :p. What pleasantly surprised me was that the bathroom included hygiene products for women, which is a rare and very thoughtful touch. Addressing another comment: the owners live downstairs, but while staying upstairs, we never felt that our privacy was compromised in any way. The only thing I would point out is for elderly guests—there might be some difficulty with the stairs, but that’s the only minor thing I can mention. Overall, this place deserves a gold medal!

I liked the Everything that Byhuset provided, Except I would like to have some receptionist or some assistants in the hotel. May also be some Universal Adaptors provided by the Hotel would be really great for guests who travel from asia (India, Srilanka, and others)

Host was there, even though we were supposed to get the key from the lockbox. We felt very welcome and the apartment was exceptionally clean. The environment of the apartment is amazing, so quite and in the middle of nature.

Very friendly owners, apartment 1 is the best to choose, it has 2 floors, a lot of space for big family. Only 26 min from Legolend and Lego house. Quite and nice place to have an authentic Danish vacation in stylish home

Excellent property at very quiet and nice location. It was very easy to find. Stay was great as well as the hosts. Everything was ready and perfect. Horses around and the view of them directly from the apartment was a nice plus.

Amazing Penthouse in a central location where you could find almost anything in walking distance! Such a big place to stay over with a couple of friends. Clean and stylish and had everything we needed. Perfect for a family stay. The only minor problem is that the place is above pubs and bars where loud people and music was disturbing us from evening up until 5 in the morning on fridays and weekends else everything was 10/10!

It ia an outstanding accommodation placed in beautiful location. The apartment is well maintained, clean, nicely furnished and includes small lovely details like coffee and tea or towels at disposal. The housing has a really cozy, comfy atmosphere and the seating with grill in the garden is awesome.
