Everything was spotless, had the best sleep ever as the beds were super comfy, the home is so beautiful and in a really good location with shops and attractions nearby - only 20 minutes drive from South Walney Nature Reserve! The host was very helpful and super responsive when we needed them. There was tea/coffee supplies, candles and incense, playing cards and even cushions for the outdoor seating to ensure we were comfortable. Cannot recommend this stay enough

We liked everything ❤️ comfortable sofa with lots of cushions, fantastic shower and absolutely equipped kitchen… everything what you can need and more, spare dogs bowls and towels, additional towels for us if we need it. Just like at home😍 lots of board games for children and families, soft carpet to even sit on it and walking barefoot. Hosts are absolutely fabulous, friendly and welcoming. Sue and Howard were our first hosts who welcomed us personally . They show us everything in and out. Just can’t recommend more… lovely place, lovely people, just perfect.

Wow! Very friendly hosts. Wonderful apartment at the rear of the inn. Large, spacious and extremely comfortable. Free parking adjacent. Arrived in time for evening meal in the inn. Ambience, service and food excellent. Ideal spot after our Ulverston Christmas Market day.

We stayed in the Alfred suite and couldn’t have loved it any more. The extra touches with the welcome sweets, coffee, milk, biscuits and new year champagne were a lovely touch but the quality of the crockery, cutlery, bedding and overall design was perfect. Excellent place to stay with so many well thought out touches, grateful for the washing machine and dishwasher tablets, cleaning products and lots of loo roll. It goes without saying that it’s a beautiful place to stay but someone has a very good eye for detail and has made sure everything you need is there to make for a wonderful stay. The marketing doesn’t do the place justice, this is a hidden gem that needs to be on every social platform … maybe not too much so I can’t rebook ha!

Self catering facilities were excellent (although no spatulate so used fork). Local shops close by as well as local superstores and retail park, private off road parking. Rooms were spacious, Apartment felt homely, comfortable. Clear and quick responses from apartment manager regards booking etc. Lakes easy accessible via car, train

Stayed in the penthouse apartment, it was very clean, modern and super comfortable. Free on site parking and Wifi. The host message just before our stay regarding key collection and appeared very welcome and friendly. Situated close to local shops. We ate out at a lovely little Italian which was a short walk away. I would definitely recommend.

Good location in the town centre but not affected by traffic noise. Very comfortable and modern apartment with everything that I needed for our self catering. I wasn't sure if there was a freezer but there was a stacking fridge and freezer. I took my own cafetiere and the only thing missing was a corkscrew! Luckily I had also taken a screw-top bottle of wine! Off-street parking is OK and there was space but it's quite tight when there are 2 or 3 enormous vehicles but there is also on-street parking.

If it was a hotel it would be 4 going on to 5 stars. The self catering was of the highest quality. Private car park. Besides apartment keys we had keys for both outside doors front and back to the private car park. Front door intercom to the apartment. Sound proofing from the main road traffic was excellent.
