A beautiful place just minutes from central Ella with stunning views and all the facilities our family needed. Shalika and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful, they went above and beyond. Breakfast was generous with a selection of Sri Lankan specialities, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, and the home-cooked traditional dinner with vegetables from her garden was one of the best we had on our whole trip. They also arranged all our transport for our stay and even gave us a free ride to the train station. Can’t wait to come back!

The owner of the homestay picked me up from the train station and prepared some snacks to welcome me. The room was clean and spacious. The next morning, I could directly see the sunrise and waterfall from the room's balcony. The breakfast prepared by the owner was abundant, and they kindly answered guests' questions.

We had an amazing time at the Ice Age Cottage. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, organizing a tour to the Diyaluma Falls for us, which was unforgettable. Every morning, we were treated to a different homemade breakfast, which truly elevated our experience and made our stay even more special. The cottage is cozy and well-equipped, and the view from the private balcony is simply stunning. There are also several excellent restaurants within walking distance, and it's quick and easy to reach the town center by Tuk Tuk. A perfect, peaceful retreat in Ella. We highly recommend it!

The room (even bathroom!) are bigger than expected and very quiet. The hosts are super friendly, so does their cute son! You can enjoyed really nice breakfast prepare by them at the balcony with the view. The husband also got a tuktuk which makes everything convenient. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely time at Ella Peaks Lodge. It was only 30 minutes away from Bandarawela and a lot closer to all the major attractions in Ella. It's also situated close to the main road, making it easily accessible. There's free and safe parking at the lodge itself, adding to our comfort and convenience. The place was really nice, impeccably clean and spacious and had a great view from the balcony. The hosts were super friendly and helpful in getting us settled in. They also were kind enough to provide helpful details about the nearby places and the best ways to get there. Highly recommended for couples as well as families who want to enjoy the leisure, study or focus on the work in a peaceful atmosphere and a lovely surrounding.

This was an amazing property and Chiva was a great host. I would recommend going on the Ella rock sunrise climb with chavi as your guide the best sunrise views I have seen. Chavi also owns a tuk tuk and showed us around for great value. 10/10 stay !

Firsr let me say i can be very sensitive about appartments. but this was probably my best stay in my traveling time through years. Location with the view, 5min walk from center of Elle, so you have a quiet spot, near everything you want. Staff, so kind, not pushy or fake like it could be here. Very calm communication. breakfast in room on a time you want it. The view. 10/10. clean and spacy room, also the bathroom. Pictures sometimes lies, but in this case is even better. this really is 10/10.
