A perfect location, perfect accommodations, and a perfect hostess. The beach entrance is just minutes away, and we often walked barefoot. It's also just minutes from Mirissa's main street, the fish market, and the supermarket. It's located in a secluded area, so it's very quiet both day and night. The villa is very clean and matches the photos perfectly: three rooms, a large living room/hall, and a kitchen, all furnished exactly as shown. The bedding is all very high quality, and the air conditioners and fans are excellent and quiet. The kitchen has everything you need: a kettle, toaster, stove, and all the necessary utensils. All the rooms have large windows, making it very bright, a rarity for a ground floor villa in Sri Lanka. The hostess herself is an absolutely charming young woman; her communication and attitude toward us were impeccable. We were very happy to find this accommodation; our flight was delayed, and we happily extended our stay. We highly recommend it and hope to return.

Absolutely an incredible place to stay. The whole unit is brand new, with a very large king bed, gorgeous bathroom, kitchenette, A/C (although if you want to save money, there is also a ceiling fan), a beutiful porch, and, most of all, an amazing hosting family! The location is in the town of Thalaramba, which is a few minutes away from the tourist hotspot of Mirissa. It's close enough to be convenient to reach, but far enough to give you peace from the tourist nonsense. It's about 20 minutes to walk to the main Mirissa Beach, or 5-10 minutes to a secret, almost private beach. I mostly went to the closer, private beach - it was the perfect place to take a nap in the shade, or dip your feet in the water! Some big perks for me that were unexpected: * The hosting family offered to provide a delicious traditional Sri Lankian breakfast or dinner for 1000lkr each - and they would prepare it ahead of time for whatever time I wanted! This was huge, especially if you are staying longer than a night or two, given that many restaurants in that area are charging 3000lkr+ for substandard fare. * The internet connection was fantastic - Mobitel fibre, much faster than I have even at home in Canada! It was hands down the fastest and most reliable internet I had anywhere in Sri Lanka, even compared to western hotels that were 40,000lkr/night. However, the wifi could be improved - it doesn't reach all the way into the room, you have to sit by the front window or on the porch outside to use it effectively. I am definitely going to return here with my girlfriend in the future! I would say this place is perfect for anybody who is travelling as a couple (because it's sooo cute and gorgeous, it feels like a honeymoon), or for anybody who is travelling alone (because the hosting family is very nice and will cook for you). It's also amazing for anybody who needs to work during their stay, because the internet is so reliable and fast.

It is a great sized house with two bedrooms and a kitchen with everything you need. The owners were amazing and made us breakfast one morning and also helped us out with anything we needed, I would recommend staying here as it’s so close to mirissa beach (10 minute walk).

One of the best accommodation I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. I have stayed for 6 nights with the best part being walking distance to coconut tree hill and beach yet having peace and quiet time during the stay. The owner Prabath and his family are so hospitable and the food they provide is amazing. A must try. Everyday he checks on you to assist or provide information where it is needed. Nice hosts, well equipped shared kitchen, comfortable room, nice little cozy terrace. A bit far from the centre but close to the beach which is less crowded than the one next to the centre- you can take a longer walk or use a bus or tuk tuk to reach the centre of the city.

I stayed for three nights and it was fantastic! I was working abroad during this time, and the place was comfortable, the WiFi great, AC great, and Chamil was a very friendly and helpful host, going out of his way to make my stay perfect. Additionally, the bed was really comfortable and the location was great, about 8 mins walk to the beach. Cannot recommend enough, would definitely stay again!
