Great apartment where i stayed with my bicycle before starting my Patagonia cycling adventure. The man that works at the apartments was very helpful, recommending places to go to shop and eat. There are convenience stores right outside the apartment and a good restaurant down the hill a 5 min walk away. I would recommend staying here.

El Capitán is set in Puerto Montt, 20 km from Pablo Fierro Museum, 4 km from Chinquihue Stadium, as well as 4.4 km from Lutheran Temple. During your time staying in this recently renovated apartment, dating back to 2019, you will have access to free WiFi. The apartment has family rooms. Beds are sooo comfortable. Loved that there was 2 double beds. A good amount of space for putting our bikes together for our cycle trip. Limited amenities and things to cook with but we made do. Location is fine just a bit of a walk from town. In general I was very happy with this space for a couple nights. Super lovely owners and restaurant downstairs with amazing food!!

The location provides a spectacular view of Coyhaique and Cerro Mackay, and the panoramic windows in the room permitted full appreciation of it. It was only a 15 minute drive from the centre of town, and the hotel provided the contact of the charming Don Manuel, whom I used as a reliable and fairly priced taxi service. The staff were incredibly friendly, the decore and layout of the property outstanding, and the breakfast was ample and delicious.
