Magui's apartment is lovely, spacious enough and clean with a homy feel to it. It is equipped with everything one might need during a short stay. I really appreciated insect nets in the windows and a fan in every room, which helped to keep the place airy and cool. Magui is a super nice and welcoming host. She was waiting for me when I arrived which allowed for a smooth check in experience. She also helped me arrange transport to where I wanted to go. Her house is located a short walk from the city center and the beach. The whole area is mostly quiet and pleasant.

Nelly and her husband are super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The large terraces do not belong directly to the accommodation but can be used as well, just like the washing machine. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was extremely clean. We felt very comfortable and recommend this stay.

Lovely modern decorated place which has all you need. Our host was very friendly and helped us arrange transport to and from Tarrafal. Ribiera Brava is very nice town from which you can do lots of great walks. The island has few visitors but the people here are so kind and authentic. We really enjoyed our 4 nights here and we can really recommend this place.

We loved the location right at the bay with a nice balcony to observe the daily live. You can sit there for hours and not get bored. Our host was a very nice guy who takes good care of his guests. He also arranged a good rental car to explore the island as he had a car rental business too so that is pretty convenient. Sao Nicolau is a fantastic place to visit, the locals are extremely friendly.
Edificio Magico is located in Tarrafal da Vila de Sao Nicolau and offers self-catering accommodation. The property is overlooking the beach and feautues a free public parking at a location nearby.

Actually, there are not so many choices where to stay in Tarrafal, Edificio Magico is one of the more convenient. It is an oldish, bit tired place, but everything works well and is clean. I had apartments with a kitchenette, so it is possible to make your own meals. They also provide breakfast – modest but adequate and the breakfast room is on the terrace with a sea view. Service is very friendly and helpful. Location is unbeatable – practically in the centre (though there is not much of Tarrafal anyway) and practically on the beach.
