My wife and I enjoyed the fine views from the property as well as exploring the surrounding area by foot, including the picturesque Cloughoughter Castle about a 40 minute walk away along tranquil country lanes.

The location was good for my purposes as I wanted to explore County Cavan. It was great that it is located only a few minutes from Ballyjamesduff for groceries, restaurants and exploring. The County Caven Museum is very close and a must see. The property was clean and had what you need to cook, a nice size refrigerator, access to the back yard. Once I arrived and got a tour, I never saw the host throughout my visit.

The boiler room is the icing on the cake: you can hang wet coats and put away wet shoes. We like it when it is practical and it was! The kitchen is very well equipped. We just loved our stay.
