Only a small walk form the station, the apartment was what I expected for the fee and in the Japanese environment (clean, well designed, light and fresh). I have stayed in many places over the years I have been travelling to Japan. There are a number of Family Mart shops for daily stocks and a street food shop before reaching the ReLA location too. Security was excellent. Working in IT Security, I know full well the pitfalls of poor security, especially digital door access codes. When I arrived at reception (Digital Automated), it was very useful to have access to free WiFi to retrieve my email with all the information for the booking. I had been travelling for over 24 hours, therefore I was not prepared to wade through any pre-printed documentation I had prepared for myself. In the apartment itself, cooking and eating requirements were all catered for, except no cups for tea. Showering/bathing, wet room was of exception standard and plenty of room (I am 1.88 cm, 6'2"). Even towels, body wash, and hair wash were provided. Good water pressure too. There was plenty of space and chairs to relax and invite guests or watch TV if you preferred. Lighting was ambient and very adjustable. The beds were difficult to get out of in the morning, as they were way too comfortable. I slept well every night, there was little street noise from busy Kashiwa. From my 4th floor location, I also had a great view day and night of that part of Kashiwa, from a modest veranda.

As soon as we stepped into the house, I felt something changed inside me. The feeling of warmth, coziness and comfort filled my being. It was beyond what I expected. The serene and peaceful environment also made the difference. This special house is fully equipped, spotless clean and everything was arranged so neatly that I had to think twice before I had the heart to use them. We were welcomed by our hosts with a very friendly gesture, they were so helpful and we communicated with laughter. This was a stay that I will never forget and I will definitely be back again. While public transportation and shops are limited, that’s probably part of why the area remains so beautifully preserved. The host was exceptionally welcoming and even kindly offered me a bicycle to go to the supermarket, so I could get groceries and enjoy cooking just like at home.

Anna was such a wonderful and thoughtful host — kind, responsive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and easy. The location is fantastic — peaceful and convenient, with easy access to Tokyo while still offering a quiet, local atmosphere. The traditional tatami room was especially traditional; it added such an authentic and calming touch to the experience. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out, and we truly felt at home. We would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Myoden to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped, and welcoming place to stay near Tokyo.
