We had an amazing stay here and Mohammed is super friendly and very generous.
When we arrived he offered a basket of fruit and tea and gave us great tips for the area - boat trips to see turtles, dolphins and snorkeling as well as an outing to see the bioluminescence on the beach at night.
Mohammed has two amazing staff members who prepared a feast for us on the first night - delicious, on the second night we tested his restaurant with another group staying at the guesthouse - also delicious.

Don't understand where the low rating comes from. I had a great experience. Clean and newly renovated room. Lovely owner who allowed to check out later. Great location near the Souq. The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation so I guess the ratings refer to the old hotel

It was raining and the whole apartment (second floor) was flooded as water came through the balcony. There was no drain and even after telling the caretaker, nobody was helping to remove the water.
Rain is rare occurance, otherwise it was all great. Kitchen could use some more utensils and a better clean up.
The living room and the bedroom are exceptionally large and comfortable and the whole apartment very clean. The parking is right in front of the hotel. The cheque in and out procedures were short and efficient.
