Close to the old center, a few minutes walk, for me it was a great location. The place is clean, gives a feeling of home, the landlady is nice and helps in everything possible, gives the feeling that she is always here for the benefit of the guests. I just mentioned that there was a problem with the shower and after ten minutes they replaced the shower head with a new one.

Nice and clean apartment with a lot of space. Pool and Billard is for the whole complex for use. Not far away from the Kennedy park and other things in Miraflores.

The location is great! You’re close to everything central to Barranco. You’re staying above Augusto’s home so I felt very secure/safe. You get keys so you can come and go as you please. The place is spacious and has everything you need. I didn’t mind not having a kitchen—the fridge and microwave and water kettle are more than some other places. There was also a heater in each room which was appreciated as someone who runs cold and a hair dryer in the bathroom! The shower got hot quick. The breakfast was great. Augusto is a wonderful host, prompt to reply to messages and kind. He helped me with my heavy bag up and down the stairs. I will absolutely look to stay here again if I’m ever in Lima—and recommend it to folks coming. I stayed at a hotel in Miraflores when I first arrived and El Refugio was much better. Muchas gracias for a wonderful stay, Augusto!

The apartment is very spacious with two full bedrooms, a living room as well and a fully equipped kitchen. It also includes a washing machine. Also, parking is included in case you arrive by car. The building has a good location within Miraflores and it has manned reception/security.

Great location, safe building, excellent amenities and very good value for money. Ricardo (the owner) is beyond helpful, kind and organised. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and was happy to answer any questions we had about both the property and the city of Lima. It’s very close to supermarkets, restaurants and bars so there are plenty of options and within walking distance to the beachfront.

Big clean comfortable rooms, with kitchen facilities and a small bar & restaurant on the top floor with room service if prefared. Buffet breakfast included in the price which helped us for the start of our long days discovering Lima. Pleasant friendly staff working the bar & restaurant. We stayed 4 nights and they allowed us to store our bags there for 3 nights after then we returned and stayed one more night, this was a huge help for us !
