This 2BR unit was indeed a condotel, a cross between a condo and a hotel.The facilities were better than some 4-star hotels where I have stayed. The unit was hygienic clean and neat. There were hotel frills like even-temperatured hot water in the bathroom, hotel-like bed fittings, free toothbrushes, slippers, shower soaps, drinking water, coffee, some snacks, smart TV, excellent Internet connection, curated furnishings and a well-styled apartment. The only thing missing was a breakfast buffet on the first floor and room-service and this would be a full-blown hotel! The host and the staff of the unit and the neighborhood were top-notch. Very accommodating, helpful and quite endearing really. Even the security guards, receptionists and shuttle drivers were very helpful and courteous. The condo location is excellent. It is nestled in the first floor and among lush greenery. You could sit in the balcony and enjoy the nature and the view of the lagoon around you. The neighborhood is very beautiful, very clean with well-manicured gardens. The gardens were decorated with Christmas lights as it was December. The beach if about 500 small steps away. The beach is shallow, clean and quite lovely. You can swim then relax all day under the parasol and just enjoy the serenity. The beach sand is fine and light grey. There were plenty of black and white striped fish to tickle you. They even sold bibingka and puto bungbong by the beach as it was December. As a bonus, there is a lovely, air-conditioned chapel that celebrated mass plus misa de gallo in the evening. Overall, if there was a good supermarket closeby and I could retire here, life would be perfect.
