Being close to the airport it was a good way to end our trip. The appliances were all functioning and well maintained, and the jacuzzi was exceptional.

Everything was great. Furnas is well situated for discovering a lot on Sao Miguel. The staff is very friendly and helpful whenever a question came up they were able to help. the Fitness room is well equipped, the pool nice for some swimming. The houses have everything necessary. Breakfast has nice local food, i really recommend the "volcano bread". The garden is nice for some leisure stroll. There is a separate set of dark towels ready to take to the thermal springs! Supermarkets and good restaurants are close by (about 10min walk), hot springs can be reached by foot too. In a radius of about 30-35min driving distance are a lot of possibilities, like for hiking, canyoning, whale watching, the tea plantation and more.

Die Unterkunft Brum Design Apartments I in Ponta Delgada ist 12 km von Pico do Carvão entfernt und bietet klimatisierte Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit kostenlosem WLAN sowie Zugang zu einer Terrasse. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft OURIÇO im 1. OG. Die Wohnung ist modern, neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besonders praktisch fanden wir die komplett ausgestattete Küche sowie die Waschmaschine. Alles war super sauber und gepflegt. Die Kommunikation mit der Unterkunft war hervorragend – immer schnelle und freundliche Rückmeldungen. Ein besonderes Plus war, dass wir am Abreisetag noch die Hotelanlage mit Pool nutzen und unsere Koffer dort abstellen konnten. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top: sehr zentral und somit perfekt, um alles bequem zu erreichen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

In der Nähe der in Ponta Delgada in der Region São Miguel gelegenen Unterkunft Wild Blue By SVL befindet sich Santuario Nossa Senhora da Esperanca. The apartment was so clean. It was also a perfect location so close to food and shopping. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you could need to cook full meals. Then the best was how easy it was to communicate with the owners, they were so helpful and flexible.

Die Unterkunft Val 23 Loft befindet sich in Ponta Delgada, 13 km von Pico do Carvão und 25 km von See der Sieben Städte entfernt. Kostenloses WLAN ist in der ganzen Unterkunft verfügbar. Acomodation was a very sweet little apartment perfect for couples. Location is great it's in the center of the city and everything is in distance of a few minutes walking. Apartment also has all kitchen supplies. The owner was very helpful and fast to answer all our questions. The parking is really close and really cheap. Would recommend for anyone who wants to visit Sao Miguel.

The appartment was really big, clean and comfortable. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool and were happy to watch the birds of the farm (chicken, feasans). The big parrot Lara became our friend. We all liked a lot the jacuzzi where we could relax every evening after island visits or hiking. Claudia, the owner, was very friendly and gave us good advise for places to visit and for the restaurants. Every morning she put at our disposal avocados and eggs from the farm for free. The island offers many beautiful and interesting places to see: the tea plantation, the pineapple plantation, warm natural swimming pools, black sand beaches, beautiful hiking trails in the tropical forests with waterfalls etc. A very nice place to visit!

Joao was a very friendly, communicative and proactive host; we found some groceries placed in the apartment for our arrival; and he was very understand when something broke. The apartment itself is located very centrally, but the street is mostly quiet apart from occasional construction noise from the house across the street (which is bound to be temporary). There's a free parking lot 4mins' walk away which we always managed to get a space on with a bit of patience. The apartment kitchen has all the basics you need for cooking at home, and the living area is spacious and comfortable. I saw other reviews on other apartments mentioning cockroaches and mould - not an issue in this apartment! The humidity was very high in November when we were there, and that was felt in the apartment (our clothes didn't dry very well), but that's hardly something the host can fix, and there was no mould anywhere in the apartment. Overall, would recommend!
