We had a beautiful stay. We splashed out on the Vista Mar room, which was perhaps the most beautiful hotel room we have ever stayed in. It's a large, circular cabin built of wooden beams, with a conical, thatched roof. Best of all, if has a large balcony danging out over the turquoise water, and with its own hammock. Perfect for relaxing in the warm, Caribbean breeze. At low season (early May), we had the place almost to ourselves. Service from Kevin and the team was excellent. Food was basic but tasty, with great Colombian breakfasts. We particularly loved happy hour cocktails (2 for 1 between 5 and 6 pm) and then watching the beautiful sunsets.

I spent 3 of my most peaceful days in this enchanting, authentic, unpretentious little piece of paradise in the middle of the Caribbean sea and I truly fell in love with the place, its nature and the local karacol village community..

One of the most spectacular locations I have ever stayed in. You can really feel the love and attention that went into every little part of this beautiful place. The rooms are simple, yet comfortable and you'll anyways spend your days on the numerous hammocks, deck chairs or in the water. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, made us feel right at home and was very helpful in organizing our transport, our tours and making sure we got the absolute most out of our stay. Also the food was incredible and reasonably priced given the remote location. We would come again anyday and can 100% recommend anyone to book a stay here

This hostel is beautiful and an amazing place to relax. Staff are super friendly/helpful. Food and the tours are reasonably priced. Lots of previous reviews complaining about compostable toilets and bucket showers - can confirm there are now actual working toilets and showers at this hostel.

Great location, super friendly staff and also other guests. The jetty out the back is perfect for peace and quiet. Food was good and amazing pancakes for breakfast! We loved being here.
