A great hotel beautifully located overlooking the Nile. It is quiet and tranquil on the island. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. This is family run and our hosts Mohammad and Amira treated us like family. Mohammad was always available for advice or to help book a tour or taxi. Amira is a wonderful cook and we enjoyed delicious Nubian/Egyptian breakfasts and dinners on the terrace watching the boats on the Nile. We were reluctant to leave this paradise. Highly recommend. Don't miss this gem!

My stay at Airkela nubadool2 was beyond amazing! Starting with the incredible view on Nile river beautifully-crowded with typical Feluccas and boats from my bedroom. I've received a very warm welcome. Traveling as a solo woman was well-noticed by the Nubian (one of the oldest civilization of the world) Manager. From the very start, he invited a solo guest from another of his hotels to team-up with me. I can't thank him enough as we both had an incredible time sharing unbelievable moments in Egypt! The Elephantine island is exclusively Nubians (3000 people). I fell for those generous and kind-hearted hosts and locals. They all provided a lot of extra-care and generosity. The hosts were so incredible! We got along so well with the hosts Ali and Mahmoud, that we got the privilege of a private tour on the island, a boat tour and the climbing of a sand dune offering a panoramic view at night. This destination was by far my favorite in my beautiful Egypt. If paradise on earth exists, it has to look like it. God bless you!

Nice staff, excellent food! Band came to a hotel one evening, it was really nice surprise to listen and dance local music! Really good location! Beautiful and clean rooms! Nothing to complain!

Get the kings room on top, you wont regret it. The view is stunning. The owner offers motorboat rides to the west bank or the botanical gardens as well as felucca rides. We loved our stay. Its quiet and away from the chaos of aswan. Elephantine island is a gem. The public ferry is close too.

A beautiful Nubian house with an amazing view. The roof terrace provides an excellent view of the Celestial horizon and the scintillating water under it. The breakfast was also excellent.
