The location can't be beat -- right on the waterfront with the bus stop at the front door and restaurants in both directions. The view over the harbour was lovely. Darius, the hostel manager, was extremely helpful. Although the room was cold (everywhere was cold at that time), there was plenty of cosy bedding.

The Ship Inn is located in Elie, 36 km from Edinburgh and 45 km from Perth. The inn has a terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The Ship Inn features free WiFi.

Marvellous location at seafront, excellent bar with log fire, very comfortable room with excellent bathroom, and a first class restaurant. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

The location is excellent. We attended our daughters Graduation and stayed at the Rusacks. We have celebrated birthdays and this recent celebration at the 18 -Bar on top. Service is excellent - apart from the fantastic view and drinks on offer. The rooms are large and well appointed with old world charm

The room is not large, but this is typical in Scotland. The bathroom is nice and clean. The hotel’s location is excellent, one of the best in St. Andrews. The staff is friendly and tries to meet expectations. There is a very large selection of whiskey at the bar, which has a cozy atmosphere. From the restaurant, there is a view of the sea. Delicious breakfast, very nice breakfast room, some tables with a view of the sea. Coffee and tea set. Water. Beer. Snacks included in the room price.
