First of all, thank to Konstantinos – a very positive and welcoming host. He met us at the airport and took us to the house, and he was available at any time if we had questions. The house is located in a wonderful spot, right by the beach. Just a few meters away, there was a great taverna serving local food, and shops were within walking distance, even if you don’t have a car. The house is fully equipped (the host has thought of every little detail). If you plan to cook, there’s a fully equipped kitchen available. It was also great to have a washing machine with all the necessary detergents, as well as an ironing board and iron. Each room had air conditioning, which was a real lifesaver during the hot season to cool down and relax. At check-out, we were supposed to leave the key on the table or in the key box by the gate. However, in a rush, the kids closed the door with the key still inside. When we realized what had happened, the host responded in a very understanding and kind way, saying that these things happen.I still feel bad about this incident, which caused the host some extra costs.

It was one of the best stays I have ever had. Nikolas is a great host. He is very kind and welcoming, and he helped us a lot. The apartment is a pretty big and comfortable; the sea and the beach are just across the street. Also, there are really nice Greek and Italian restaurants just in the very next buildings. As for the Old Town, it's about 20-30 minutes walk. Highly recommend!

We loved the house and the garden. The host is very welcoming and has gone out of her way to make our visit to the island a fantastic experience. The fact that the beach is across the road was amazing. We had a dip in the ocean every day. Watching the sun set from the terrace is beautiful. The whole experience of Rhodes has been amazing. We have made some truly lovely memories as a family. The Old Town is about 30/40min stroll along the beach path, with stunning views. The Rhodes stadium is a must visit and its free to visit.

The entire hotel staff were excellent and helped us in every way they could. Particular mention must be made of Christina and Artemis on the front desk.Both of them dealt very professionally with the problem we first encountered. Their help went well beyond what we would have expected. The hotel has a really friendly feel about it and we felt as if we were one of the family by the time we were leaving. The location is ideal..a short walk to the beach and to the beautiful vistas along the coast and walking distance to the town centre and bus station. We feared that being near the Casino it might be noisy but that was not the case. The room was well laid out, extremely clean and the separate bathroom and toilet were great. There was also good storage in the room and plenty of hangers. The balcony was also a good size with 2 chairs and a table. An extra chair in the room would have been nice. Blackout curtains kept the room cool and dark in the morning. The breakfast was good with a good variety of breads and pastries and hot food..eggs, sausages, beans etc. The only thing were slightly unhappy about was the water for the tea. It never seemed to be boiling. We ate in the restaurant (Nisos)each evening and must say we found the food excellent. We chose from both the Greek and the Asian menus. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions were really generous. In fact the starters and mains were sufficient enough for two! The restaurant staff were also very professional, always helpful and well able to explain what the dishes were. Socrates who served us must be mentioned here. He was always smiling and pleasing and always made great recommendations. The ice cream, made by the restaurant owner (Janis) was also delicious. We found it was excellent value as we were on a half board basis. The housekeeping staff were also excellent and always willingly supplied us with whatever we needed.We had a very relaxing holiday. The staff were exceptionally professional.

The best place we have stayed on our frequent trips to Greece! Christos and Despoina are very kind people who will do everything for your satisfaction and still manage to have a friendly chat with you. Everyday cleanliness, clean towels - anything we needed was taken care of promptly by Despoina. Slow internet and once the electricity goes out? Well what would you want on an island plagued by huge fires. Still, at a time like this, Christos arranged everything we needed within hours. And you don't go on holiday to work! We can only recommend this place - Stegna - a few steps from the sea, in the place shops and very good taverns, car rental. There is a lot to see on the island of Rhodes, even if you "only" went to visit the Old City.
